Expert advice and assistance from our experienced team
The Survey and Installation Process
Upon placing your order with us a fully qualified surveyor will visit your property to conduct a full technical survey of the proposed installation. Unlike most companies we will check your existing conservatory roof to ensure that it is structurally sound before installation. We also conduct a water test to check for leaks. In the event that your conservatory does have minor leaks or minor external problems our experienced installers are usually able to rectify these prior to installation of your new insulated ceiling. We do this to ensure that you are able to fully utilize your conservatory once your insulated ceiling has been installed.
On the day of installation cross ventilation is first installed into your ring beam to ensure that the new system can “breath” thus eliminating condensation once the system is installed. A treated timber sub-frame is then installed directly onto the underside of your existing roof beams. We employ skilled craftsmen with specialist experience in conservatory roof insulation and we take great care to ensure that everything is cut to size and lines up perfectly for a stunning job.
Our unique 19 layer insulated quilt is then installed to cover the entire underside of your conservatory roof. This unique, totally energy efficient quilt is designed specifically for insulating conservatory roofs. It is approved by the LABC, conforms to building regulations and carries the Warrington Fire Certificate. It achieves a U-Value of 0.15 making it the most thermally efficient product on the market place for conservatory roof insulation. Its dual functionality means your conservatory will be warm in the winter months but also cool in the summer.
A second timber sub-frame is installed which provides a secure fixing for the beautifully crafted internal ceiling to be installed. This can either be in a PVCu or plastered finish.
Our specialist installers will create the visually stunning ceiling which is what you will see when you look up in either PVCu or plaster board and then plaster. The ceiling will follow the existing pitch and design of your existing conservatory roof to maximize headroom and also maintain the feel of your conservatory. In the case of a plastered finish we will leave your installation to a pre-decoration standard, ready for you to decorate as you wish. The PVCu finish is maintenance free and enables you to enjoy using your conservatory straight away. The end result is a room you can use comfortably all year round. Warm in Winter and Cool in Summer.
